A Musical Journey
Da Truth was born Eugene E. Wilson to the parents of Christine and Tyrone Wilson. On September 13, 1979 in Roseland, IL, on the South side of Chicago.
Music has always been an outlet for his creative expression of his inner feelings and personal experiences. Growing up in that environment was tough and humbling. However, it instilled something in him, to help him over the challenges he would face as an adult.
Da Truth learned to be a leader and not a follower, and to always be authentic and truthful in his own heart. He took sometime away from music to support his family, but was always writing and wanting to his music to be heard by the world. After overcoming some difficult obstacles; he believes the time is of the essences to inspire and express what so many cannot.
One to never shy away from expression of his feelings on all subject matters. He is posed to have a major impact on the world through his observations and personal connections.
